DEMONS, YARNS AND TALES New space The Dairy - located in a disused milk depot - has commissioned 15 artists to try their drawing, painting, cutting, carving and sculpting hands at the forgotten art of tapestry. Yarns and Tales invites established artists such as Kara Walker, Grayson Perry, Julie Verhoeven, Paul Noble and Gavin Turk Intake a fresh look at a medium often dismissed in contemporary art circles as craft. These highly influential names force as to look beneath the surface of tapestries - with fictional landscapes, abstract architecture and political pieces on war and the environment abounding.
